*This figure represents the financial performance of 570 Auntie Anne’s franchised shops located inside enclosed malls (“Enclosed Mall Franchises”), obtained from the unaudited profit and loss statements submitted by Auntie Anne’s franchisees, as published in Item 19 of our March 2019 Franchise Disclosure Document (“FDD”). While there were 728 Enclosed Mall Franchises in operation at the end of fiscal year 2018, 158 Enclosed Mall Franchises were excluded from the financial performance representation because they were either not under the same ownership or not open for the entire 2018 fiscal year. This financial performance representation includes sales from 43 non-baking satellite retail units. Of the remaining 570 Enclosed Mall Franchises 249 Enclosed Mall Franchisees (or 43.7%) were at or above the average net sales of $538,175.
